Seaports

Turku region offers Finland’s best connections to Scandinavia. In fact, all the main population centres of Sweden can be reached from Turku within 24 hours, and the only Finnish train connection to Sweden operate from Turku. The region has three seaports: Turku, Naantali and Uusikaupunki. Together they form the leading harbour cluster for general cargo to and from Finland. They are also the distribution hub for Scandinavian traffic in Finland and an important link in the Baltic Sea region’s transport chain. 

There are 10 daily ferry departures to Stockholm and weekly departures to Norway and Denmark from Turku region. There are also many weekly ferry departures to different destinations in Germany, weekly departures to Belgium and the United Kingdom, and monthly departures to Spain, Italy and France.
