Turku region is one of the Baltic Sea area’s most significant trade centres. It offers great retailing opportunities within Finland, and the excellent logistics connections to and from Scandinavia and Russia enable the easy expansion of markets, to both west and east. There are a number of differently profiled trade centres in Turku region, which attract customers from all over Finland. The retail trade provides work for some 25 000 people in the region.
